FCTZ Adopts Community Based Planning

Farm Community Trust of Zimbabwe (FCTZ) has embraced community based planning that will enhance the participation of communities including vulnerable socio-economic groups in development interventions that are relevant to them. Community based planning (CBP), aims at improving the quality of ward plans in terms of process and content by making the plans people centred, inclusive of vulnerable groups (for example orphans, the disabled, youths, widows/widowers, mobile and vulnerable opulations) whose voices may be over shadowed by other powerful voices in the community.
